VESSEL DELIVERY

Vessel Delivery & Captain Services

Wavepirates provides professional vessel delivery for motor yachts and sailing vessels, from coastal relocations to longer-distance passages. Each delivery is planned around the vessel, route, weather conditions and operational requirements, with a professional captain and, where required, additional crew.

Before departure, we review vessel readiness and prepare the passage, including routing, weather and the practical requirements of the move. During the delivery, the captain remains in communication with the owner or manager and can provide agreed position updates. At destination, the vessel is handed over to the owner or representative with a clear summary of the passage and any relevant observations.

OWNER REPRESENTATION

Yacht Oversight & Owner Representation

Wavepirates provides independent Owner Representation when the owner or manager cannot be present at the vessel, marina or shipyard. We attend on the owner's side, observe visible work and vessel condition, document progress with photographs and report directly to the owner or authorised representative.

Attendance can include marina visits, yard or refit periods, contractor coordination, pre-arrival checks and handover support. The purpose is straightforward: provide an informed person on site who can see what is happening, ask the right practical questions and keep the owner updated without taking over the roles of the yard, broker or surveyor.

OPERATIONAL CREDIBILITY

What owners can rely on.

Short proof points first. Open a line if you want the working detail.

Global operations

International passages, changing operating areas and practical port-entry requirements.

More detail

Work covers coastal and longer-distance passages. Route and weather are planned against changing port and operating requirements, with practical preparation before departure and arrival. Coordination follows the vessel across different operating areas rather than treating each move as an isolated job.

Sailing and motor vessels

Operational experience across sail, motor and mixed vessel profiles.

More detail

Sailing yachts, motor yachts and catamarans are handled according to hull, rig and passage requirements. Commercial or support craft are included when that is the brief. Planning and crew are matched to the vessel rather than applied as a single standard move.

Technical command

Passage preparation, crew coordination, vessel readiness and operational oversight.

More detail

Before departure the vessel is checked for readiness and the passage is organised. On passage the work is watchkeeping, crew coordination and communication with the owner or manager. Technical issues are observed and reported; specialist contractors are brought in when needed. This is operational command, not class authority or shipyard engineering.

Independent surveying

Condition, pre-purchase and dockyard inspection with defined reporting.

More detail

The work includes pre-purchase and condition assessment, dockyard or refit observation, and machinery or systems review where that sits in the brief. Findings are recorded with photographs and a defined report. The inspection is for the client, not the seller or the yard. This is inspection and reporting — not a statutory or class survey.

Private and commercial work

Support for owners, brokers, managers and commercial operators.

More detail

Private yacht relocation and owner-side attendance sit alongside work for brokers, managers and commercial operators. Commercial or support-vessel jobs are scoped the same way when that is the brief. Reporting follows the client — an owner, a manager or an operator — rather than a single standard note.
