Wavepirates provides professional delivery for sailing yachts, motor yachts and suitable vessels on coastal and established international routes. The scope can include the captain, additional delivery crew, passage planning and destination handover.
Before departure, we review vessel readiness, route, weather, port requirements and practical constraints that affect the move. While underway, the captain remains in communication with the owner or manager and provides agreed progress or position updates.
Purchase and handover moves, seasonal repositioning and post-yard relocations can be handled within the same delivery framework when the vessel and route are suitable.

Specialist & Remote Deliveries
Long-range, remote and off-corridor deliveries are assessed individually. These passages can involve greater distance, limited shoreside support, unfamiliar ports, security considerations or more demanding logistics.
Planning is based on the actual vessel, route, season, insurance and flag requirements, crew needs and current operating constraints. We do not advertise every route as a standing corridor; specialist passages are accepted only when the risk and logistics can be managed properly.

Captain Services & Professional Command
Captain Tristan leads delivery and command work, with additional crew assigned where the vessel, route and watchkeeping plan require it. Scope can include delivery command, relief command, sea trials, passage management and vessel handover.
Captain assignment and crewing are matched to the vessel, flag, route, qualifications required, passage complexity and availability. Watchkeeping and rest arrangements are then planned around the passage and crew composition.

Delivery Readiness, Sea Trials & Handover
Where the brief requires it, Wavepirates can assess delivery readiness before departure, observe vessel behaviour during sea trials, and support acceptance or handover at either end of the passage. The scope is operational observation and reporting in support of the delivery.
Visible faults or concerns are documented and, where necessary, specialist contractors can be coordinated with the owner or manager. This does not replace a formal marine survey, classification or statutory inspection, or specialist engineering certification.
