OWNER OVERSIGHT
Yacht Oversight & Owner Representation
Independent eyes on the vessel when you are not there. Wavepirates attends, inspects what is visible and accessible, and reports to the owner — not to the yard, the broker, or the contractor.
This is owner-side presence. It is not a class survey, not a statutory inspection, not engineering certification, and not brokerage. Owner Representation is delivered by Tristan Zinhard.
DEFINED ATTENDANCE
What this is
A defined attendance and reporting service for owners who need someone on site: marina, mooring, winter berth, yard period, or pre-arrival. Scope is agreed before attendance. Hours are not unlimited.
- On-site presence when the owner cannot attend
- Photo and written condition report of what is visible and accessible
- Mooring, lines, fenders and berth arrangement
- Accessible power, shore connection and battery state as found
- Bilge look and obvious water ingress
- Contractor presence and work-in-progress notes
- Quote and work-scope review from the owner's side
- Yard / refit watch during agreed visits
- Pre-arrival check before the owner or guests arrive
- Ad-hoc call-out by prior arrangement
LIMITS
What this is not
Surveying remains a separate product. Yard technical inspection stays under Marine Surveying. This page is the attendance product.

- Statutory or coding inspection
- Engineering sign-off or certification
- Brokerage or sale representation
- Standing 24/7 watch or unlimited hours
- A substitute for a contracted full crew
